About the Mini Calliope Granny Square

This is an intermediate level free granny square pattern that includes a number of specialty stitches and techniques. Since 2021, I’ve been including stitch photo tutorials in all the crochet patterns I sell on Etsy and Ravelry. You can now access those very same handy tutorials by clicking the links in the Specialty Stitches section below. So you don’t need to Google if you don’t know a stitch; you can just get straight to hooking 🙂

The Mini Calliope Granny Square comprises the first six rounds of the popular 8 inch (20cm) Calliope Granny Square. This mini version measures 5 inches (13 cm). You can purchase the full ad free PDF version of the 8 inch Calliope granny square pattern – which includes full written instructions and all the photo tutorials – on either Etsy or Ravelry.
